The wastewater treatment project consists of 8 world-class production units (Annual production of 900,000 tons of ethylene, 600,000 tons of polyethylene, 250,000 tons of polypropylene, 500,000 tons of aromatics, 500,000 tons of styrene, 300,000 tons of polystyrene, 260,000 tons of acrylonitrile, and 90,000 tons of butadiene), 1 waste acid recovery unit and supporting projects.This wastewater system is used as a pretreatment system for oily wastewater, which is responsible for the treatment of oily wastewater discharged from various units in the 900,000 tons / year ethylene project, including oily production wastewater, ground washing water, and initially polluted rainwater. The main purpose is to remove oil from the wastewater and organic compounds with physical properties similar to oil. After the effluent of the system reaches the takeover standard of the wastewater treatment plant, it is lifted by a pump and sent to the wastewater treatment plant via a pipe rack for biochemical treatment and finally discharged. The sludge is concentrated and dewatered by proper sludge dewatering equipment for final disposal.
